Jennifer Bowen-Shauver, Ph.D.

Instructor, Biology Office Location: Agnese Sosa 102 Phone: (210) 832-2153
Dr. Bowen-Shauver joined the Department of Biology in 2004. She received her Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Michigan. Her Ph.D. work focused on the role of prolactin in the induction of programmed cell death in the corpus luteum. Her postdoctoral research at the University of Auckland and the University of Illinois at Chicago continued exploration of the role of prolactin and other cytokines in regulation and remodeling of gestational tissues.
